Boss Bird Aviation Graphics

This collection presents a series of F-111 wing flagship aircraft representing the 20th, 27th, 48th, 366th, and 474th Tactical Fighter Wings from 1969 through 1997. Each profile combines a historically accurate illustration of the wing's flagship with carefully recreated wing and squadron insignia associated with its assignment and period of service. Accompanying captions document the history of the individual airframe, including notable assignments, operational service, and significant milestones. Together, these profiles preserve and commemorate the heritage of the F-111 and the TAC and USAFE units that operated it throughout nearly three decades of distinguished service.
